The surface area of the estate is currently made up of almost 35 hectares, 20 of which are planted with vines in production and 6 are being replanted. The grape varieties: Riesling Renano, Pinot Nero, Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara and Merlot, are all trained with the simple Guyot system.
The vineyards are cultivated with the aim of finding the right vegetal-productive balance.
We try, therefore, to not “push” the plant with forced fertilizing, but use manure to bring the necessary nutritive substances, we let a spontaneous grassy mantle develop in order to create competition with the root system of the plant, we plant with a high density of vinestocks per hectare, we carry out short pruning, targeted crop thinning, to reduce vigour and to privilege the fruit as much as possible.
In this way, we obtain grapes with precise characteristics that reflect their territory of origin to the full.
